About The Author: Tessa worked as a journalist for several years in London, writing for Elle, Elle Decoration, Marie Claire, and Vogue. A desire to escape the grey skies of London drew her to the South of France where she lived with her daughter and worked for the Riviera Times. Her first book "Cult Perfumes" lead to the launch of a line of perfumes and home scents inspired by travel locations and emotions. Hotel of the Stars is her second book that features iconic hotels worldwide where cultural history has been made. Locally, she covers hotels such as La Colombe d'Or in Saint Paul de Vence, a haunt of Picasso and friends, to the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, the famed setting for F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Tender is the Night." She is currently working on a second "Hotels of the Stars" book and has featured the Fonton Champagne Shop on her podcast.
